“Founding this company has been one of my greatest joys. From the Directors, to the parents, and especially the kids, every day brings a new light to what we are really doing here at Playem Sports.”

Marina Johnson, Program Director

Marina Johnson is from California and came to Louisiana to play soccer at LSUA. Since then, she found her way to Shreveport looking to stay active in the sports community, by playing semi professional soccer for the Shreveport Lady Rafters and other recreational sports in the community.

“As Program Director, I feel that I have found my passion. Working with kids and teaching them how to stay active. Sports and exercise continued to be my outlet from my childhood through adulthood. I can’t wait to share a little bit of that with the kids.”
